Alien Munchtime
Grades: 1-3


Summary: "It is lunchtime at the Alien Academy. Help the lunch lady serve all of the hungry little aliens exactly what they want. Then, help create your own dish to serve. Practice your subtraction facts while having fun with the aliens!"  Great to use on the Smartboard as it is fast and easy game that can get multiple students involved in a small amount of time.

Lucy's Costume Closet
Grades: 1-3

Summary: "Lucy is the costume designer for Just4You Movies. Help her dress the different actors and actresses while practicing your subtraction facts. Can you pick the best outfits for the Hero, his sidekick, Dr. Notsonice and his minion, Q-bort?"  This game is probably best suited to play independently rather than as a class.

Sketch's World 
Grades: 1-3

Summary: "Sketch lives in a wonderful world drawn on notebook paper. But, mean erasers are trying to erase his world. Help Sketch collect pencils and paints while doing subtraction problems and help save his world!"

Count On Convict
Grades: 2-3

Summary:  Use groups of ten to help you subtract two digit numbers.  This game breaks subtraction down step by step by using groups of ten to help you reach your answer.  It can be a bit complicated but once you get it, it's another strategy to help you with subtraction.

Soccer Goal
Grades: 1-2

Summary: Look at the question, take away the number of players and try to kick the ball to see if you win.  This game is great for students to read the number sentence and make sense of it using the pictures.
